No, I am advocating parenthood only for LGBT people who want to be parents.
Becoming a parent should never be taken lightly. Just because parenting is becoming more of a visible option for LGBT people does not mean it is the right option for everyone.
Parenting is a choice. Being childfree is a choice. Remaining childfree might be the choice that is best on for you…even if your parents really, really, really want grandchildren.
