Dr. Orson Morrison, Psy.D. is co-owner of LifeSpan Counseling and Psychological Services, LLP. Dr. Morrison is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Illinois. He obtained his Doctoral Degree at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Niagara University.

In addition to his Oak Park practice, he works as Vice President of Clinical Services for Lawrence Hall Youth Services and teaches at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He previously held positions as Clinical Director of Hartgrove Hospital’s outpatient psychiatric clinic and Director of Psychology Training at Riveredge Hospital.

Dr. Morrison’s clinical interests include working with adolescents, adults, and couples. He has developed specializations in treating mood disorders, strengthening couples’ relationships, multi-cultural psychology, LGBT families, trauma, and psychological testing (ADHD, IQ, Personality, and Career Evaluations). Dr. Morrison has previously served on the Board of Directors for COLAGE, the only national organization dedicated to engage, support, and connect children who have one or more gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender parent.
